Or is there?
I’m ashamed to admit I’ve shopped while sad, hurt or angry, and it always leads to mayhem either in my budget or closet or both. And the temporary high I’ve experienced in these moments never lasts. Shopping while overjoyed can sometimes have the same effect as well, as I might enthusiastically talk myself into something that’s really a bad fit, style-wise. So I try not to use retail therapy too often – although sometimes there’s just nothing a new pair of shoes can’t cure. Le sigh.
What about you?

New shoes are the cure for EVERYTHING!! At least in my world. 🙂
And yes, I am guilty of quite a few emotional shopping trips. They don’t always make me feel better, but at least I’ll look better. It helps mask the problem. 🙂
