I’m posting this photo of Vivian Malone Jones crossing the Quad at the University of Alabama as today’s throwback Thursday image. It’s the last day of Black History Month and I debated about what – if anything – I wanted to say. I think breaking down doors by just standing still and then walking through them so that others may follow is pretty inspiring. And pretty fabulous. (And if you want fashion commentary, note that her trim pencil skirt and button down are still in style today!)
