What’s in my purse?

It’s no secret that I love Aveda’s products.  I highly recommend them for recreating a spa-like experience in your own boudoir.  But what’s another must-have that I carry around every day and have in my car for emergencies? Their Hand Relief.

It’s a hydrating cream  for stressed skin that soothes and smoothes my hands thanks to “plant emollients, humectants, exfoliating fruit acids and antioxidants including vitamins A and E”. It’s really a luxurious moisturizing treatment; it even has licorice root extract to brighten any discoloration.  Aveda Hand Relief leaves my hands moisturized and soft (without a sticky or greasy residue).  And its pleasant yet unobtrusive  scent (with notes of orange and lavender) is unisex and doesn’t interfere with perfumes (or induce allergies!).

A 4. 2 ounce tube costs $20, and a little goes a long way.  Get some! (There’s also a Foot Relief, but I’ve yet to try it.  I’m old school: to moisturize my feet I coat them with Vaseline and slip on a pair of thick socks.)
